AFS Camp, Wasen, etc.

I had another AFS camp last week in Hohenstaufen. We stayed at a hostel for 2 nights and did a ton of activities. It was really beautiful and great to meet other AFSers in my area.

Ivana (Croatia), me, Lauren (US-Texas), and Vanessa (Costa Rica)
Me, Levi (Germany), Lauren, and Vanessa

Lauren, Me, Maria (US), and Mertcan (Turkey)

Here are some photos from Wasen/Volksfest, which is Stuttgart's version of Oktoberfest. It's basically a huge fair/carnival, with tons of people, food, rides, and of course beer tents. Most girls wear Dirdls, and guys wear Lederhosen. It was really crowded but really fun. It looks similar to fairs back in the US, but it was definitely really different.

I went to Esslingen for a few hours last week with Katherine (another American who lives in Esslingen) and Melvin, a German AFS returnee.

On an end note I've been in Germany for over a month... It's already going by so fast!
